I had the compulsion to start writing a novel again. I have a good feeling about this one. Its a realistic fiction about the main characters struggle with life in a metropolis, an alcoholic father and an absent mother, and their sexuality. The character falls for a quirky odd ball girl, but has odd feelings for either one of her close friends or her brother. I cant decide yet. Im also not sure who I want the main character to end up with, or if they should end up with anyone at all. I actually got the inspiration for this novel from a song by the decemberists, shiny. Its also heavily influenced by a song I found a little later, King of the rodeo by kings of leon. I know the last one sounds like its country rock, but I assure you it is not. So yeah, once I get done with the first chapter I'll upload it ^-^
